I spent the spring semester teaching kindergarten while the regular classroom teacher was on maternity leave. It was half-day kindergarten, but I had a.m. and p.m. kids. On my last day, the afternoon parents had a little juice and cookie party to say goodbye to me. They presented me with this wall hanging. Each of the kids decorated half of a square, they stamped their name and then one of the moms took it home to fire in her kiln (amazing....they have a kiln in their home!). Anyway, it was so sweet and I love it. I'm impressed because I've recently drawn on clay and it's not that easy! One of my favorite half-squares is the one that says, "I like Mueller." Hehe... I've already got a little easel to display it on for my new classroom. :)
